New Product Available for Combatting High pH in Soybean Fields
Tim Woelfel, Crop Protection Manager
The 2009 dry, mid-summer, conditions brought back a familiar problem in area soybean fields; yellow stunted alkali areas. Luckily, there are some new products out there that can help you fight off high pH and bring back the green to your soybean fields.
The pictures below show two products: Ferrilene and Soygreen. These products were used in-furrow at planting, in area fields, and then documented throughout the growing season. Both showed dramatic results, both visually and in yield responses, in what would have been traditional problem areas.
As with any crop stress problem; results will vary year-to-year based on weather conditions. But, the pictures and yield results speak for themselves. If you are interested in learning more about how to best utilize these products in your field, contact your account manager at Harvest Land Cooperative or email Tim by clicking here: twoelfel@harvestland.com
